Fix Word Alignment Issues in Descript
Happy Thursday! My latest in-depth Descript tutorial shows you all the ways you can identify and fix word mis-alignment in Descript. I've seen this question way too many times (almost daily) in the Descript communities: How do I fix words that are not aligned with audio? Whether it's a failure of the transcription AI, the audio quality wasn't the best or there's crosstalk, mis-aligned words are a pain, particularly when you absolutely must have your transcript perfect! In today's guide, I provide solutions for this common problem. I explain how the transcription engine sometimes mismatches the transcribed words and the audio waveform, resulting in missing words or unsynchronised words and audio.
